Step 1: How do I see what's already been purchased on my Walmart registry?

1. Go to walmart.com and sign in.
2. Select Registry from the menu at the top of the page (or Services → Registry, Lists, & Gifts → Registries), then Manage now under Manage your registry.
3. Select your baby or wedding registry.
4. Open the view of gifts already purchased. Walmart's Registry FAQ says only that "you can check which gifts have been purchased for you on your registry page". Where it does name controls for that view — in its baby-registry returns steps — it calls them See all registry Items and Purchased.

The wedding-registry view and the baby-registry view are essentially the same; the difference is mostly in the recommended-product carousels.

Step 2: What does my Walmart registry show me about each gift?

Expect the gift and the person who bought it — that pairing is what you paste into ShipNote. Walmart's Registry FAQ doesn't spell out the columns, so treat any specific layout as unconfirmed. What the FAQ does commit to is timing:

• Once the gift ships — Walmart sends tracking details, and says outright: "We won't reveal the gift or how much it cost."
• After the item is delivered — Walmart shares the gift message and who purchased it, plus a gift receipt.

Step 3: Where do I get mailing addresses for Walmart thank-yous?

You almost certainly already have these somewhere:

• Your shower or wedding invitation spreadsheet — most common
• Your invitation vendor (Minted, Paperless Post, Zola, The Knot, Joy) — check its guest list or address book
• A shared Google Doc from event planning
• Your wedding website's RSVP tool if it collected addresses

Does Walmart share guest addresses?

Walmart's Registry FAQ says Walmart shares the gift message and who purchased a gift after it's delivered; it never mentions a giver's mailing address. (Target's gift-tracker help lists each gift's quantity, purchaser name and date — also with no address.) You'll match names to addresses from your own guest list — save that list, because ShipNote doesn't keep a reusable address book between orders.

What if I'm already months past the etiquette window?

Send the cards anyway — late thank-yous always beat no thank-yous. Why aren't my group gifts showing?

Walmart's Registry FAQ doesn't describe a group-gift option, so don't count on a pooled gift listing everyone who chipped in. Add them to ShipNote manually — anyone who chipped in deserves a card.

Walmart's Marking an Item as Purchased for Gift Givers article says a giver who bought a registry item at another retailer can select Mark as Purchased and enter the purchased quantity and who the gift is from. Walmart's Registry FAQ, answering that same off-Walmart case, says only the registry owner can adjust gifting quantities. So some of those givers may already show on your registry; anyone who didn't mark theirs, or who bought something that isn't on your registry, won't — you'll have those names from your shower or wedding records.
