Use ShipNote from ChatGPT or Claude

Tell ChatGPT or Claude who to thank, one person or your whole registry, and ShipNote saves the postcards as a draft. You open the link it gives you, add your return address, check every card, and pay here on shipnote.co. Nothing is mailed or charged from the chat.

How it works

  1. Paste your registry or guest list into the chat, or just name the person you want to thank.
  2. The assistant shows you card designs and can tell you the price for your number of cards.
  3. It saves your cards as a draft and gives you a link. Nothing has been mailed or charged.
  4. Open the link on any device. ShipNote asks for your return address first, then shows your list and every card to check before you pay.

Connect it in Claude

  1. Open Settings, Connectors (opens in a new tab) and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it ShipNote and paste this URL. No sign-in is needed.https://www.shipnote.co/api/mcp/claude
  3. Start a chat and ask for thank-you postcards.

Connect it in ChatGPT

Until ShipNote is listed in ChatGPT's app directory, add it in developer mode, which ChatGPT offers on its paid plans.

  1. Open Settings, Apps & Connectors (opens in a new tab) and turn on Developer mode under Advanced settings.
  2. Create a connector named ShipNote with this URL, and no authentication.https://www.shipnote.co/api/mcp/chatgpt
  3. Turn it on in a chat and ask for thank-you postcards.

Things to ask

  • “Show me wedding thank-you card designs.”
  • “How much for 42 postcards?”
  • “Here's our baby shower registry, can you make thank-you postcards?” (then paste it)
  • “Send a thank-you postcard to my aunt May for the scarf she knitted me. Sign it Sam.”

What the assistant can do

  • Browse card designs for weddings, baby showers, birthdays, graduations, holidays, Thanksgiving and more, and say which ones need a photo.
  • Get a price for up to 500 cards, postage included. The final price is confirmed on shipnote.co before you pay.
  • Save your cards as a draft, from a single card to one person up to 500 cards at a time, with the gift and your message filled in for each card. Guests without an address stay on the list; on shipnote.co you can add their address or send them a link to fill in their own.

It can't mail a card or charge you: you finish every order here. Cards mail to US addresses only. Business cards are made at shipnote.co/business, and the assistant doesn't make sympathy cards.

Your information

When you save a draft, the assistant sends ShipNote the names, addresses, gifts and message you gave it, and we store them as a draft order right away. We keep it the same way as a list you type on our site, even if you never pay. Anyone with the draft's link can open it, so share the link only with people you trust. What we keep and for how long is in our privacy policy.
