Does Minted Mail Cards for You? Yes, Sometimes (2026)

Yes, sometimes. Minted has a service called Mail It For Me that prints your cards, stamps them and mails them straight to your recipients. The catch is in Minted's own help article: the service is "available in very limited quantities" while it rolls out. If the option isn't at your checkout, your cards ship to you instead, and the stamping is yours.

Will Minted mail my cards for me?

Only if Mail It For Me is offered on your order. Minted says it is introducing the service gradually, so the option appears at checkout only when it is available. When it is, Minted prints, stamps and mails each card to its recipient. When it isn't, the whole order ships to you and you post the cards yourself.

The same answer holds for Christmas and holiday cards. The help article makes no separate promise for holiday orders, so a December batch is in the same position as any other: mailed for you if the option appears, shipped to you if it doesn't.

Two things the article doesn't say: which card formats qualify, and what the service costs. Minted's 2026 holiday postage guide doesn't mention Mail It For Me either. Budget as if the cards will arrive at your door, and treat the mailing as a bonus.

What does it cost to have Minted cards mailed?

Minted doesn't publish a Mail It For Me price, so plan with the card and the stamp. Its flat thank-you cards were $1.76 each on 45 when we checked, and a standard-size card takes a one-ounce stamp, $0.82. At the standard rate that is $2.58 a card before any mailing service.

Minted's holiday cards cost more than its thank-you cards: the first foil-pressed design on its holiday card page was $3.84 each at 25 and $3.12 each at 50 on the day we checked. Minted also advertised 20% off a first order that day.

What do you need before Minted can address or mail anything?

An Address Book. Minted's recipient addressing works from contacts saved in your Minted account, and you fill it by typing addresses in one at a time, uploading a spreadsheet in its template, or sending guests a request link by email or text. Recipient address printing is free, in a design and font that matches your card.

The template has seven columns (Name on Envelope, Address 1, Address 2, City, State, Zip and Country), and Minted's instructions say the name column can't be blank and the sheet can't have blank rows. For a holiday list you reuse every year, that is a one-time job and a good one. For 80 wedding guests whose addresses are scattered across a registry page and a pile of shipping emails, it is the slow part of the whole task, done before a single card is designed. The help article also doesn't list which card formats Mail It For Me covers, so don't plan around a particular format being eligible.

Which card services mail every card for you?

Postable, reliably. Mailing each card for you is Postable's standard service, at $5.99 a card plus an 82¢ stamp, or $6.81 mailed, when we last checked on September 8, 2026. Minted mails for you only when Mail It For Me is offered at checkout. Minted is the stronger stationery shop; Postable is the surer mailing service.

Shutterfly is the other big name that mails for you: its Mail for Me service addresses, stamps and mails eligible cards in plain white envelopes, for a per-envelope fee.

Where does ShipNote differ from Minted?

If the card is meant to be kept, as a folded, foil-pressed design in a lined envelope, Minted is the better buy and ShipNote doesn't compete.
